Carolyn has worked as an interior designer for over twenty years and drawn upon a wealth of knowledge and experience. When not pouring over a set of plans or pulling fabrics Carolyn spends time playing racquet sports, cooking and enjoying time outside in Nantucket and Boston. Carolyn is a member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA).

Tracy Krueger

Director of Operations & Logistics

As director of operations and logistics Tracy develops long-term operational strategies while working closely with team members to complete company objectives. In her personal time she enjoys spending time volunteering, reading, and entertaining.

Elizabeth Thayer

Senior Interior Design Manager

Elizabeth manages our Boston office while operating as a Senior Interior Designer. With experience in all genres and styles of design, combined with technical expertise, Elizabeth can seamlessly take on projects from start to finish. Outside of interior design Elizabeth has a great passion for fashion, and style, and enjoys traveling and spending time at the ocean.

Heather Duval

Senior Interior Designer

Heather is a seasoned senior interior designer who has worked in the field for over 13 years. Heather approaches each project with keen attention to detail, seamlessly blending aesthetics with practicality to deliver spaces that are not only, visually striking but also, tailored to the unique needs of each client. Heather’s love for interior design is only rivaled by her love for the outdoors, nature, and her four-legged friends. When she is not creating beautiful spaces you can find Heather on her yoga mat or walking in nature with dogs from the local animal shelter.

Kristen Mandel

Interior Design Project Manager

In a world where design is as diverse as the people it serves, Kristen puts the client at the heart of her creations. Her approach combines efficiency with awareness of individual tastes and lifestyles into personal design solutions, creating environments that align with the daily lives and preferences of those who inhabit them. Beyond the design studio, Kristen embraces the balance of Pilates and finds tranquility at the beach, where the ebb and flow of waves serve as a perpetual muse..

Victoria Kane

Interior Design Assistant

Victoria is our Boston Design Assistant. Her role consists of all aspects of design from deliveries, scheduling, sample sourcing, CFA’s, to office organization (did someone say color coding?). With a background in fabrics, Victoria loves a good statement piece in a colorful print! When she’s not at CTI you can find Victoria in Concord, MA with her husband and her mini bernedoodle named Willow.

Alisa Lozovanu

Interior Design Assistant

Alisa is our Nantucket Design Assistant, playing a role in supporting the creative and functional aspects of our interior design projects. Alisa can be found sourcing materials and furnishings while communicating with vendors and suppliers. Alisa is our go to talent for coordinating project logistics and maintaining organized project documentation. Her passion for aesthetics transitions into her day to day life where she enjoys art, D.I.Y. projects and fashion as while maintaining an active lifestyle.

Kathy Wattles

Controller

Kathy is the accounting controller. She makes sure everyone gets paid, and all is reconciled. The balance in her home life comes from walking with Otto, Pilates, gardening, travel, and all aspects of food.

Mandy Mason

Financial Associate

Mandy has been a financial associate/ bookkeeper on Nantucket for almost 10 years. Originally from coastal NC she moved here with her husband Jon and two children Abby, a recent Nantucket HIgh School graduate attending URI and Lily who is 15 with special needs. Mandy enjoys walking her dog Holly and spending time with her family.

NANTUCKET

Our Nantucket interior design studio was founded more than 20 years ago. This studio is a hub of interior design resources for clients and associates alike on an island 30 miles out to sea.

BOSTON

Our second studio is on Charles Street, in Boston’s bustling Beacon Hill neighborhood. This centralized location allows Carolyn to service Boston, Cape Cod, and beyond.
